I have successfully built my new PC. I have done it before so I knew it wasn't to difficult. Putting the CPU in was rather scary as you need to apply a lot of force to lock it in to the holder and it has such small pins that cant easily be damaged.
Well I have sold my iMac and now going to start build/buying parts for a new pc that I shall build. The reason was I enjoy playing games and they were struggling with my older low quality graphics card. It would of cost me about the same, if not less to get a faster, newer PC than to upgrade the graphics card in my iMac.
